There're certain food that can make us gain weight fast like candy, sweets, and fast food. There're food that are healthy and doesn't have a lot of fat like fruits, vegetables, and fish. You have to change your daily diet if you want to lose weight and keep it off. Lifestyle changes are the best way to keep weight off. You should not look for a quick fix because you'll gain the weight back. Diet pills and surgery are only temporary. If you choose your food carefully, you'll lose weight. You should aim for a life long weight maintenance program rather than a temporary solution. There're some temporary solutions that are not healthy for you like taking diet pills or other medication to lose weight.

Avoid Sugary Food
Sugar is converted to fat if it's not used up by the body. Insulin converts sugar to fat if your cells are not taking it in. If you have too much sugar flowing in your bloodstream, you can become a diabetic one day. Sugar is one of the worst group of food that anyone can consume. You should avoid food that have high sugar content if you want to lose weight. It can be difficult since most food have a high sugar content. Food companies put a lot of sugar so they can be more tasteful so they can make more sales. They're not aiming for healthy food. They're aiming for sales. This is why you should avoid processed or prepared food. You should always cook your food fresh from home. When you cook it at home, you can avoid putting too much sugar in it. You can gain weight over night if you eat candy, cake, ice cream or if you drink soda daily. The majority of Americans do eat ice cream and drink soda daily. This is why Americans are trying to lose weight. Every corner, you will see a Burger King or McDonald and who can resist fast food? Whenever you're cooking, you should avoid putting too much sugar in your food. You should also cut down on soft drinks, candies, ice cream, cakes and anything that is sweet. You can lose weight fast if you cut down on sugar.




Avoid Oil and Food with High Fat Content
Oil and food with high fat content will make you gain weight really fast. If you don't want to gain weight, you can make it a goal to cut down on oil and food that are high in fat. You should avoid greasy food. Instead of frying your food on oil, you can bake it, boil it, or steam it. It's healthier for your heart and you won't gain as much weight. You can avoid fast food because fries and burgers have so much oil in it. You don't see it but you can gain weight over night if you eat fast food daily. Red meat can also have high fat content. You should switch to fish, chicken, shrimp and seafood.

Fruits and Vegetables
Fruits and vegetables should be your main focus for every meal. You can gain less weight and they're full of vitamins and minerals. They have little fat content. They're low in sugar too. Banana and apple can have sugar content. Every meal, you can mix vegetables with your main dish so you can be eating vegetable instead of meat. If you're making something, you can throw in 70% vegetables and 30% meat so that you will be eating more vegetable than meat. You should blend in fruit and vegetable for every meal. During breakfast, you can add strawberries, or banana to your cereal so you can fill up your stomach faster with fruits.




Drink Tea and Use Herb
Tea and herb can help you lose weight. It can increase your metabolism and help with indigestion. You can drink three cups of green tea per day. You can also use herb with your food. Eating garlic, onion, parsley and other herbs can increase your metabolism and help you lose weight. Garlic acts as an antibiotic. They're helpful to your immunity too.
